An RV Club is a great way to travel and learn more about RVing. It also lends a sense of safety and stress relief to the RVer. We encounter groups and clubs at nearly every park we stay in. They are almost always having a good time and helping each other out; plus they like their potlucks! Nothing like breaking bread with old and new friends.
Specialized and Local RV Clubs
There is a specialized RV Club to suit just about every need and interest. From singles to couples, Air Stream to Winnebago. Google will help you find the perfect club. We have also found that there are many RV Facebook groups that are fun to join and serve as a great way to meet people as well.
Check out your community too. Most retirement communities have RV clubs for the senior crowd, and many enthusiasts also have groups you can join. It’s a great way to get to know people with similar interests.
Good Sam RV Club
The Good Sam Club is the largest in the US, with chapters in Canada, claiming about one million members. With such a large membership, they are able to provide the longest list of member services.

Passport America
Passport America invented the 50% Discount Camping Club in 1992 and has continued to improve on that great concept. Over 1900 campgrounds across the US, Canada, and Mexico are currently participating in the Passport America Program.
With the Passport America RV Discount Camping Card, card holder’s also receive a FREE subscription to RV America magazine. This magazine provides members with many great features such as Product Highlights, and Recipes from the Road. It also offers updates to the current edition of the Passport America International Camping Directory.
Other RV Club Benefits
The benefits of joining an RV Club or Group are endless and range from discounts to companionship! RVing with a group can be stress free because someone else has taken care of the details. You also have additional RVing safety being with a group. Remember, just because you belong to a club doesn’t mean that it’s the only way to travel, but it is a great option to have!
