Renting your RV will require letting someone or some other entity have possession or control of your RV (when you are not using it). This can be a huge hurdle for many owners. Their RV is their “baby” and the thought of strangers using it is not a pleasant one. However, rental does allow you to keep the RV for your own travels and make money with it when you are not traveling. Plus, believe it or not, there may be some huge tax advantages for you by doing so (be sure to check with your tax adviser to see how this works).
