Can your RV make money for you?  Yes, it can.  Making money with an RV is more commonplace than you might realize.  Vacationing and travel are  the uses that come most readily to mind.  However,  there are numerous other uses for an RV.  Many of which can produce and income for its owner.

Rentals, Working from the Road, and Other Options

Probably the most common form of income generation from an RV is rental.  There are many avenues for putting your RV into a rental program.  From doing it yourself from home to signing up with a reservation service, to adding the RV to a fleet.  Each form of rental has it’s benefits and downsides.

Many folks (ourselves included) travel in their RV and work from their home on the road.  This can include bloggers, internet careers, etc.  Finally there are the RVers that travel to work.  This includes Workampers, and Camp Hosts.  Its a great way to see the country and enjoy “free” camping in one location for a few months or season.

And of course, there is selling your RV.  While not everyone thinks that of this as a way to make money, making good purchasing decisions will lead to a positive exit strategy.
